Inside Sales Representative

Responsibilities:

  • Make proposals, quotes prices, and performs other support functions to assist their field sales counterparts.
  • Works to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual established sales goals.
  • Is the frontline link to our potential customers and gathers customer data and other information in order to more effectively make sales contacts and to provide feedback to the rest of the organization.
  • Make outbound pre-sales telephone calls, find opportunities, and set meetings with their assigned Field Account Manager and Sales Engineer.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business prospects, generate proposals and quotes, set meetings, and work closely with their outside sales counterparts to close sales.

Required Experience/Background/Skills:

  • Selling and persuasive skills necessary to set meetings at every level within enterprise accounts including IT Directors, CIOs, CTOs and other executives.
  • Organized, structured, and results driven in the approach to managing workflow.
  • Proven ability to handle a high volume of outbound calls requiring creative approaches and effective technical information dissemination.
  • Experience selling an enterprise technical product.
  • Experience with a solution sell over the telephone.
  • Experience selling data storage products a plus.
  • Experience with salesforce.com a plus.
